Dénètem Touam Bona est un penseur et artiste afropéen qui fait du « marronnage » (arts de la fugue des esclavisé·es) un objet philosophique à part entière, une expérience utopique à partir de laquelle penser le monde contemporain. Il est notamment l’auteur de trois essais : Fugitif, où cours-tu ? (éd. PUF, 2016), Sagesse des lianes. Cosmopoétique du refuge 1 (Post Editions 2021) et en anglais une édition revue, augmentée et traduite Fugitive, where are you running? (Polity, 2022). Récemment, au Centre d’art et du paysage de Vassivière, il a expérimenté avec d’autres artistes une “cosmopoétique du refuge” dans le cadre de l’exposition afrodiasporique “La sagesse des lianes” (2021-2022) et de l’oeuvre collaborative “Spectrographies : contes de l’île étoilée” (inaugurée le 19 novembre 2022 sur l’île de Vassivière).
